Shalom Musiq equips churches and Christian musicians everywhere with accessible, culturally authentic, technology-empowered media for worship, rooted in African sound, made for the world. We started where worship technology never looked: the 147+ million believers across Africa's 100,000+ congregations. What we build for them, we build for every church.

The vision was launched in 2018 by our founder Shalom Matunhira, a Zimbabwean worship musician, pianist, producer and sound engineer based in Cape Town, with a degree in Sound Engineering and Music Production and years directing worship for churches across Zimbabwe and South Africa.

Every backtrack, loop and patch in our catalog is performed by a named musician and ships with clear provenance and a worship-use license. Our creators keep the majority share of every sale. We're building the gospel music economy, not extracting from it.
